a Westmoore go club

So, me and a few friends recently went to a convention where we learned to play the traditional japanese strategy game "GO". Well, my friend Zach fell in love with the game (and so did I, to be completely honest) and he is thinking about making a go club. The thing that we are worried about, however, is WHEN he should have it. One idea is to have it on tuesdays, the same day that WE have club, so that for the lesson, we can just go over there and learn how to play the game and then maybe have competitions against each other for some sort of prize or something. Another idea is for him to just have it on some other day (like a thursday) so that if you want to be a member of both, you can. Also, due to the fact that it is too late for him to turn in a club submission form, I was thinking that until next year, he could temporarily use our other sponsor (Mrs. Malone) and hold his meetings in there. But I just need you to tell me your ideas, I can't read minds, so make sure that you post what you think about these ideas. if you have no idea what go is, then i will post a link here: http://www.usgo.org/what-go i look forward to seeing your responses.

I think the Go Club should meet on Tuesdays with us Thursday would be kind of hard to meet up after school because Key Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month and HOPE meets on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month.. Which means every Thursday is taken.. xD And I think it would be fun if our members could also learn to play Go! It'd be convenient if they were in the same room with us and on the same day. Plus, if we didn't want to play Go at every meeting, then we could just let them do their thing and let our club do our thing.

it doesn't have to be thursday, i was just saying it could be another day

Well~ I mean I feel like most of the people who are going to play GO are going o be from the Anime/Manga club So I mean having it on the same day would be super convenient (at least for me). I mean, we could learn about Anime/Manga for like half the hour, and then spend the other half hour playing Go. 8D Unless... Go takes a long time to play. O_O But then.. other days would be good too. xD We'll just have to see what the other members think and what Ms. Malone thinks. I mean, I hope Mrs. Malone wouldn't feel overwhelmed if she had to sponsor 2 clubs on 2 different days. o-o

nahh she barely does anything for us. she'll be alright with it.

But would the go club really hit well?? and plus you have one club to look after, would another club be good to start?? thats more work on the plate

Not entirely. Like I said, the only thing I am doing for that club is helping Zach make a constitution. I'm not going to lead it or anything. That's all on him.
